“I know my character,” Salling says. “He’s not going to stop sexting other girls.” (Actually, it seems some fans want Puck to start sexting other boys: Internet videos dedicated to “Purt,” a combination of Puck and gay character, Kurt, abound.)

“I always say, ‘Puck’s a bad guy, but I’m the worst guy,’” he deadpans. When pushed to elaborate, all he’ll offer is that he is “technically” single. He seems more at ease, however, with the attention he gets online, especially in some bloggers’ breathless descriptions of his chiseled physique. “I’m honored by their kind words, “ Salling laughs, “But my eyes are up here, OK?”
