I forgot to do a post on this when I got back from NYC, but I just reminded by gingerrox hilarious comment about the glitter pretzel and glitter pie tin.  I have a new fave store in Soho. It’s the Swarovski Concept Store called Crystallized. It’s right on Broadway in Soho. It’s got tons of sparkly goodness and there’s even a cafe and a museum sort of thing downstairs. I was in there forever just mesmerized by all the sparklies and you can even make custom pieces. I could spend days in there. I walked out with a crystal wing necklace, but I may add more to it next time I’m up there!

I just bought MORE jeans. I’m a jeans addict, I swear. But these aren’t like any of my other pairs LOL. They are shiny (?) so they look sort of like leather pants. I saw them at Loehmanns and judging by what they are going for at Neiman Marcus, I got a deal! Ok, but seriously…no more jeans! Yell at me if I buy any more!

I was out of sorts today. I’m not sure why. I just felt off my game. So, I went shopping. I found some good stuff. The top above may be part of my Idol outfit. Not sure yet. It’s a black satiny top from Calvin Klein. I also found a Kradison plaid shirt at Kohls that has a belt.

We call it the FUCKING JACKET here because HH had jacket OCD there for awhile. But here it is! And yes it’s fucking amazing! Spikes yay (suckling spikes for the win)! But we want to see these detachable tails or whatever they were. LOL.

p.s. someone teach that boy how to use twitter LOL.

With the American Idol tour starting this weekend, it’s amazing I had some time to catch up with Katy Allen, wife of winner, Kris Allen. Of course, I was crazy-excited to get a chance to chat fashion with her because Katy has always looked super-chic on the show! So how long does it take her to get ready and how does she shop? I’ve got the answers for you here (who knew Kris was so picky?!)!

• I am most happy when I am wearing my… Riding boots – They are so comfortable and worn in – I wear them way too much. (i think needs to wear boots!)
• My favorite drugstore beauty brand is… Revlon – I love their eyeliner!
• I am absolutely addicted to… My eyelash curler – I have the straightest lashes.
• Three designer clothing brands I drool over are… Catherine Malandrino, Alice and Olivia and Milly!
• I own __pairs of jeans. I have no idea…but I have about five I tend to wear the most. (Better than who wears like 1 all the time!)
• If I could be a shoe, I would be a… Gladiator sandal; trendy but casual. : )
• My typical morning routine takes about ____minutes. An hour – or more if I’m really doing my hair because it’s so long!
• When it comes to style, I like to… Be comfortable but also take some risks!
• My worst beauty habit is… Going to bed with eye makeup on when I’m really tired.
• For a night out to dinner with Kris I might wear… A flirty dress and flats or boots (I hardly wear heels around him because I don’t like to feel taller). (awww doesn’t like the top. No wonder is so fascinated!)
• When I shop for Kris, I generally buy… Nothing! He has a stylist that does MUCH better than me! : ) Kris is actually really picky so it’s hard to shop for him.
• My fav celebrity’s style is probably… Nicole Richie – I love how effortlessly and uniquely she dresses.

I really just wanted to go to Sally Beauty to get conditioner, but it’s right next to Loehmanns, which is a weakness of mine. So I thought I’d just pop in and see. Well, an hour later and a much lighter wallet, I ended up with a bunch of cool stuff. Here’s my 2 faves – they are very Adamesque!

Yes, I’m posting my own crotch shot of my new Moschino pants. These are waaaaay cool. They have silver studs all around the top. They are actually capris! Don’t even ask the price. They were half off but still triple digits. Jeans are my weakness. My rule is I can only buy new jeans if they are sparkly…and these were.

And these earring, which remind me of the spikey necklace.

Carolyn sent me the link to Pennyroyal Silver, the company that made Adam’s necklace (shown above) as well as necklaces for all the Idols. Allison and Kris’ necklaces are really cool and even Danny’s is awesome. They have necklaces that are already made or you can have a custom design too.

This is totally The Secret at work because I had just been thinking how I wanted a necklace with Candy Bar’s and my zodiac signs on it (shhhhhh…don’t tell). Hmm, I better start saving up LOL!
