Been watching the past greatest superbowl commercials on TV now. I like the one with the ostrich. “bad Bruno!” Haha

“Your phone’s not working.” “uh… Mom you’re holding it upside down.” “oh….” Hahahaha

Didn’t have time for breakfast this morning. I’m hungry. haha.

Bah, my cheek is slightly swollen… haha. But back in Utah!! Even though it’s just for the day. I’m going to enjoy it though!

David Archuleta has posted a new video blog where he talks about his birthday, spending the holidays with his family, and looking back over the last decade. Listening to him talk is like combing the beach with a metal detector; for the most part you just want to just hurry things along, but occasionally you get rewarded with little buried treasures that make it all worthwhile:

I’m 19 now, as of a couple days ago. Two days ago. The 28th was my 19th birthday, and I don’t feel… I didn’t feel like I was 18, so now I’m even older now, so it’s like… man, well I guess it’s good to be young. I don’t know.

But anyway, just looking back at this year, it’s the end of the year, end of the decade. Crazy! And this has been such an amazing… I mean, seriously, it’s only the second decade I’ve ever lived in, but it was a pretty amazing one for me. I really loved it. So much happened. I mean, there’s a lot of crazy stuff that happened too, a lot of… you know, things get hard too, but it makes the good things even greater because you appreciate them so much more. So it was nice.

The hard things are what make you strong; I learned a lot. Even though it’s a lot of hard work, I mean it’s so… I just love music, I love doing all this. It’s been great looking back and thinking, ‘man I did all that.’ I want to keep doing it. I want to keep working hard and doing my best. Not just in music, but anything else too. Sorry I don’t mean to get all boring and mushy and stuff.
