Haha, I’m serious when I say that I think he looks like serial killer Ted Bundy! Google a picture. I see a little “Norman Bates” in there, too. Gosh, I’m in a morbid mood today…..
Speaking of QAF, I worked in a building where Hal Sparks (Michael, I think) lived. ‘Cause the show filmed was here in Toronto. He was a sweetheart!!!!Even at 5am, on his way to the studio, he was kind and smiling.
That’s the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the pic, imagine my surprise when I scrolled down and saw Scott. Loved him as Ted back in the QAF years.
Wow Marie – I am glad that Hal Sparks was a sweetheart. I always loved his comedy and loved him on Talk Soup. He was Michael on QAF and unfortunately as much as I liked Hal Sparks, I despised the character of Michael that he played.
I did google Ted Bundy and you are correct, there is a resemblance.
He totally looks like QAF Ted there! I am a Brian -n- Justin girl forever too! I just started watching QAF through Netflix. I’m part way through season 2 now. How could you despise Michael though? Anyway yeah for Hal, he seems like a sweetheart. And Jim
More about Hal. Very cute guy. Not a wrinkle on his face (and he was in his mid-thirties then, he’s 40-41 now). Straight too. Always with his girlfriend. Same girl all the time; so he didn’t strike me as a man-whore, like a lot of celebs are…..sorry, off-topic, I know.
Gale Harold supposedly lived in this condo building too. But I never saw him…
ROFL – I was NOT expecting to see Scott Lowell on gossipcandy today! I went to college with him, during which time he wore a full beard and was a full-on crazy man. It was his tradition to moon everyone during the college’s spring celebration – the highlight was an open air concert in an amphitheatre in the center of campus. Good times. His Ted was so opposite from himself, in fact, that I didn’t realize it was him until the third time I watched the show, and finally caught the credits!

That’s hilarious, Clio! I loved QAF; I even had a website where I kept up with the news of the actors during the show and long after it ended. I just recently started following Scott on Twitter, and I see his sense of humour is still intact. :)

hmm, I should try to find my yearbook – he and his best friends (two women) did this goofy picture montage for their entries. And conquistador, pace yourself – maybe one of your neighbors and fellow alums will get famous later! I seem to have grown up with a lot of (now) working actors, singers and comedians who have maybe one or two shots at national attention, but then go back to being mostly anonymous – closest one is the woman who played Ross’ ex-wife’s girlfriend on FRIENDS. She grew up the street from me, I’ve known her since we were 10, and our parents still live on the
e street!
