New Eminem Song Name Checks Adam in a bad way
Around 1:40ish. Lyrics go:
“Sorry, Lance, Mr. Lambert and Aiken ain’t gonna make it.
They get so upset when I call them both faggots”
Eminem being his usual self. What’s sad is I actually like Eminem sometimes, but using the F word (that F word) just seems sort of lame nowadays.
ETA: Adam just tweeted about it:
adamlambert Wow eminem mentioned me in a song?! I must be doin something right!? Even if he used the f word…. Whtev 2 minutes ago from Echofon
ETA#2
HH tweeted this:
adamlambert Oh he says “fake it” my bad
Still a dig, but at least it’s not THAT “F” word:
“Sorry, Lance, Mr. Lambert and Aiken ain’t gonna make it.
They get so mad when I call them both fake-its“

Yeah sure…this man has become acceptable…..because rape, and other derogatory terms are OK to use but simulation of sex related to a song is mind-boggling for execs.
Well I guess I can go back to taking a shot at all the filthy terminology I learned in college. Maybe I can help release my rage and frustration that way. Now only if I could rap this crap, I could even get paid for it.
Hmmmm!
This guy is just low class trailer trash. Can’t believe he gets paid to sing his talentless music. Apparently he sells millions of records, though. OKAYYYYYYYYYYYYY
MY RAAAGE WAS TOO HOT FOR PHOTOBUCKET!
LOLZZZZZZZZZ
As a recovering whore I just want to say the most homophobic men I have ever met also had the smallest penises I have ever seen. Quite simply…they hate gay men because they know gay men will laugh at the tiny knobs that lay between two big sweaty, hairy, smelly balls. Warning to all straight women…men who talk about gay men want it or have little weenies. It is a fact as sound as death and taxes.
hey sneeze….are you sure you aren’t
posting in disguise? LMAO
LOL sneezepaddle. You crack me up. You always have…..bcoz I think I know you from the other chat site from months ago. Hope you’re doing well….with all your sports and college and stuff.
Right sneeze, The
is sooo big it made a permanent indention in the Kiss pants. BTW who the hell buys dudes music cause he can’t sing worth a damn. I guess when ur voice sounds that bad you need to sing about stuff so shocking that pple only hear the words so they dont pay attention to how shitty ur voice sounds.
Eminem is intentionally offensive. He enjoys controversy and insults women, the gay community, other artists and even his own mother. His behavior cannot be excused in any way, shape, or form.
Still I think it’s part of his schtick (sp?). This has worked for him and I don’t expect it to change anytime soon. He thrives on this type of publicity for some reason. He did a duet with Elton John and even a skit with “Bruno”
Despite all of these reprehensible traits-he is an extremely talented rapper. I think he’s the only white rapper who has ever gained the respect of his contemporaries and that has everything to do with his skills.
Adam of course puts a positive spin on that dougebags song. How come he has freedom of expression but Adam doesnt?
I listen to Em from time to time. And, fuck him for using the “F” word…but, he wasn’t dissing Adam. He explained that this is sorta like a roast to him. I think it was meant as a “nod” to Adam…probably why he used “Mr. Lambert” as a show of respect. Lance & Clay were just thrown into the mix for effect…just like the “F” word. I know, it’s awful…but, that’s how he rolls – he doesn’t apologize either. Em knows exactly what Adam is going through because he’s gone through a few censorship issues himself. This was a Slim Shady roasting and not an Em diss/attack rap…those are different. It easy to write off Em as hateful if just listen to his raps and not listen to his interviews.
‘If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck” !!!!!!
Adam just tweeted and said the word was ‘fake it’……..doesnt sound that way to me….but..I’m not going to stir this pot!!
Dunno… it doesn’t sound that way to me too but maybe I am just a tad oversensitive at the moment. :P
I hadn’t listened to the song until just now, and I totally hear “fake-its” (it rhymes with make it, too).
I am not this person.
However if butterflies like this person so do I.
it doesnt sound like fake its to me either…i guess we will just have to wait until we can see the lyrics in the album sleeve!
It sounds kinda like fake it, like he’s trying to distort what he’s really saying….
It is “fake its”
Lyrics here – http://www.thisis50.com/forum/topics/eminem-elevator-lyrics-inside
Savannah you’re right, it’s like the lyrics ARE actually fake-its, but its similar to If You Seek Amy. It sounds cryptically like something else. I’m pretty sure it’s intentional.
Not to ever defend the use of the “f-word,” but I’ve actually come to respect and even like Eminem the person. He doesn’t censor the lyrics that come out of his onstage alter-ego Slim Shady although maybe he ought to just a wee bit. His mother was rather a Jekyll and Hyde personality who, after his uncle’s suicide, raved that she wished it were him (Eminem) who was lying dead in the coffin rather than her brother. The anger he feels comes out in his songs but in real life he’s a pretty decent guy. I have respect for the fact that not only does he try to do right by his own daughter, but he also adopted his stepdaughter and one of his nieces, whose mother had a serious drug problem. Again, this isn’t to excuse his use of the “f-word” just to explain that he really isn’t particularly homophobic, but when he raps he cuts everyone off at the knees.
Even when he does use the f-word, it’s just as a general insult, he has made that clear quite a few times. Kind of like “a-hole” or “d-head”
Anyone who thinks he has something against gays must come up with a good explanation for his friendship with Elton John. (Their friendship, NOT just that they performed together once.)
Any mention of Adam gets attention..is this what he is aiming for?
Usage of the f word is still derogatory anyway you spin it…….ask any gay person who is not famous and doesnt consider it for ‘artistic’ purposes.
He says “fake its” .. that man i never enjoy listening to .. still i don’t think he needs more attention .. he already has all the attention any singer aims to get .. but he thrives on contraversies .. like the 17 rapes he mentioned in the AMA song ..
Thanks, Beth. My opinion as well. Also, I will never understand how any woman could defend a singer that brags about rape.
donnilynne,
because he doesn’t “brag about rape” in real life. It’s called art. Books, movies, plays can deal with the most horrendous stuff and few people really object that much – books like Lolita or American Psycho, let’s say, become classics – for some reason the same doesn’t seem to go for music yet.
