Longineu loves the fans!

Adam’s drummer, Longineu Parsons (“LP”) has been tweeting about the 2010 NAMM Show taking place January 14-17 in Anaheim, CA.
NAMM’s mission is to “unify, lead and strengthen the global music products industry and to increase active participation in music making.” (from the official website).
LP and the rest of the band will be there for three days, and he wants to meet all of his fans. He will be doing signings for the booths of the companies they endorse: Vic Firth, Tama, and Zildjian. He says “even if we have to meet you outside we will! We love our fans!” (aww).
This morning LP tweeted that he wanted to endorse Vic Firth lite stix, which he used on The View the other day. “Lite stix” are a brand of drum stick with an LED light in the tip, with 7 color settings including green‚ blue‚ red‚ violet‚ aqua‚ yellow and ice blue‚ as well as slow‚ medium and fast strobe effects. He asked his followers on Twitter to help make it happen, and apparently it worked (see his Twitter feed to learn how it all went down).
ETA: Tommy and Monte are tweeting about the Metallica concert last night:
TommyJoeRatliff @Monterrific thanks again man! That was so badass!!!
Monterrific @TommyJoeRatliff we need to be the opening act! At least 1 show. That would be so badass!

The lighting at the view yesterday was the best! Go figure.
AHHH HE just replied to my tweet.
Longineu likes to get free stuff. I can respect that.
My husband goes every year to the NAMM show,he’s a musician, this year my teenage son is going with him,he only got 2 passes so I can’t go. It’s a closed event, you have to have connections or be in the business to get in. It’s a very high profile event, lots of famous musicians. Damn!
Oh, that’s too bad, Nancy! Maybe he can take a message to the band for you, or at least get an autograph or something! :)
