Do the friends of this guy ever worry about how thin he is. He really needs to gain some weight. In some pictures he looks like a skeleton. He would be a great looking guy with some weight on him.
I guess Cassidy just told us he is a sex addict. That was a pretty big disclosure…sounds like he has struggled a lot and still feels the challenge. His music reflects a lot of pain. My heart goes out to him.
Shirl, I always wondered why he was so guarded talking about his past addiction — I assumed it was drugs or alcohol — but you’re right, that’s a huge disclosure. He really seems to want to be the best person he can be; I hope he finds what he’s looking for.
This one… this got to me. I had tears in my eyes hearing this. He’s such a beautiful soul.
I can’t even imagine how he deals every day with the fact that he lives and works in two industries and a community that is all about being attractive, sexual, and social. He seems to want a meaningful relationship and is trying to define himself as an artist, an honest, healthy man, a good businessman and someone who can have fun too. I don’t know how he can get drunk and stoned and still keep the sex part in perspective? Some days my life feels so simple…amen.
A Spindle can mean a weaving device for fabrics or a type of piano. I wonder which he was paying homage to. Regardless it was lovely! I hope it is on his next CD. For some strange reason Cassidy’s voice reminds me of Peter Murphy of Bauhaus; passionate but forever broken. I love it! As far as him being too skinny I beg to differ…he is fine as hell, and those hot sideburns are just lickable!
Wow. such pain. He has a great talent, to be able to put that amount of pain into music. I tend to be co-dependent, and I suddenly feel the urge to want to be his friend and help him stay healthy, safe, and happy. I feel great respect for him as an artist.
On a lighter note, I looked up ’spindle’ to try and determine which meaning he intends, and I found this:

this is so beautiful and emotional and heartfelt – i admire him for letting himself be vulnerable and opening up to his fans. you could tell it wasnt easy for him to do so.

Oh my God…HAUNTING! Such beautiful songwriting– such a powerful voice! I know he would probably cringe at this but I wish he’d audition for Idol so we could be treated to someone as exciting, original and compelling as Adam again. I have a feelin’ that ain’t happenin’ but wishful thinking…
Luna – he actually did try out for Idol this year and got through to sing to the producers but they rejected him. So sad!

Just realized– he is a Kradam love-child! The soulfullness and musicianship of Kris with powerhouse pipes and edge-i-ness of Adam. WOW!!!
