what a load of crap! He performed live on The Early Show. Also Kimmel isn’t live so what is the reason he can’t be on that show?
They are clearly using Adam to attempt to drive up rating for the BW special on Wed and the View on Thursday.
And lest anyone forget, A LOT of guests pre-tape appearances. Adam isn’t some danger to society
ABC still has their heads up their collective patoot. As an olive branch this is just okay; they’re still treating him like he’s made of C4.
I love Babs so much now. She’s like, “No, but seriously, WTF, ABC?” Except in a subtle Babs-y way.
Fuckery! Plain and simple. Babs is using Adam. ABC…scared? I don’t think so. It’s just their way of hyping the drama for their own gain.
Adam is too good for them.
they make HH sound like a loose cannon, unless he’s taped we can’t trust him-Wut!? They’re pissed he went off script at AMA and they’re teaching him a lesson- real professional ABC. Babs is in this for the ratings-the View’s are low, I don’t think helping HH out is her main priority. People want to see how he and Elizabitch interact-Babs knows that, it will make for good ratings. The real test will be if ABC has him on other shows in the future.
The funny thing is, HH performed on a live TV show every week for 4 months — and he managed to do that without the nation crumbling.
I agree that this is just a publicity/promotional stunt for ABC to drum up ratings for the Barbara Walter’s special. I don’t ABC is honestly trembling in its boots because of what that lunatic Adam Lambert might pull.
I still have a problem with ABC. No different conditions should be put on an Adam Lambert performance than on other performers. As I have said elsewhere, being upset over sexuality being part of a ROCK performance is like complaining that one has to take orders in the military. What part of the term “Rock and Roll” does ABC not understand? I started with Elvis, went on to Mick and Jim (Morrison), then Prince and Michael. Welcome to my world Adam Lambert!
I think Adam is made of C4, which is perfect for rock and roll, and never, never boring. C4 and sunshine, because he is so presh at the same time.

I agree with you. When the TV networks are clammering for Adam, I hope ABC is the last network he will appear on. They are punishing him, and letting him know that he can’t get away with anything. I say screw ABC. This will be the last network I will choose to watch (except I watch Flash Forward and I think it is on ABC). Anyway, I am going to be more picky in my choice of stations.
I have already topped watching shows, news etc. on Abc. There are too many other choices. I still think Barbara is the reason Adam is on The View and I thank you for that. She is a smart woman and of course knows this will be good for the ratings but still feels he has been getting a raw deal from her network.
I trust Adam gonna use Barb ,The View ,and the whole ABC network “conspiracy” for his advantage.The network is attacked by the huge wave of Glambert fans.I don’t think they had any idea how big is The Lambert and his Court!!!! His Hottness Highness have a Kingdom and we are his subjects
After I got off the romantic horse…..yep they try to control him,he is learning, and in a year from now they gonna beg him to appear on their “precious”network.We have to keep the strong support sent out on his behalf.Yes I agree Loha and Irish,screw ABC
