WHEN I HEAR ‘WHATAYA WANT FROM ME?‘ BLASTING OUTTA THE SPEAKERS(AND DAMN IT SOUNDS SOOO GOOD!) ON THE SAME RADIO STATION THAT THIS MORNING HAD THE WOMAN DJ HAVING A PISSY FIT OVER HIM AND HOW HE WOULDN’T APOLOGIZE FOR ACTIONS SHE DEEMED “PORNOGRAPHIC”. (THE SAME WOMAN MIND YOU THAT GOT OPENLY CHASTISED BY HER CALLERS AND FELLOW DJ’S FOR SAYING SHE WOULD SAVE HER CAT OVER HER MOTHER IN A FIRE!!)
SO NEEDLESS TO SAY I SPAZZED. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HEARD ADAM PLAYED ON A CLEVELAND STATION! (OH NOES! YOU ALL KNOW WHERE I LIVE NOW! AAAH!). I ALMOST RAN OVER MY TRASH CANS, I PROBABLY BROKE SEVERAL SPEEDING LAWS GOING TO ARBY’S.

AND AFTER IT WAS OVER THE LADY DJ SAID SHE “LOVED HOW HE SCREAMS” AND HAD A CALLER-A VERY TWINKY SOUNDING MAN IF I MAY SAY SO-CALL IN AND SAY ADAM WAS HIS AMERICAN IDOL. IN A KINDA WEIRD WAY THAT FREAKED THE DJ OUT, BUT IT WAS ALL GOOD.

I was working in Labor and Delivery today when all of the sudden Adam’s dulcet tones came drifting out of a radio hidden uner our clerk’s desk. I dropped everything and ran across the room to the radio- I think the nursing staff thought there was an emergency until I explained my ecstasy. First time hearing either Adam or Kris randomly played on a station the SF area!
Ah, I kind of guessed it was Q104 because Rebecca would be the type to save the cat. And I know Jen loves him. That’s the only station I listen to, so double ugh for missing it!
