Maybe that’s why her numbers are so high! Thanks for sending me this Tye! I never would have looked up Susan’s album on my own LOL. I’m not sure what’s worse – Adam topping Susan or bottoming. And from here:
Susan Boyle is well on track to claim the number one album spot in the UK this weekend but faces tougher competition in the US as Adam Lambert’s album sales outperform expectations.
Lambert raised a few eyebrows at Sunday’s American Music Awards after passionately kissing the male keyboardist during a racy performance. Good Morning America swiftly cancelled his TV slot but the American Idol finalist was quickly picked up by other media outlets.
His album For Your Entertainment is being estimated by industry sources to sell around 225,000 in its first week.
Boyle, on the other hand, who came to the attention of the world press after her first audition of Britain’s Got Talent, is estimated to sell around 550,000 in the US.

My least favorite thing about her is that she is famous for having a somewhat decent voice while looking extremely dumpy. Meanwhile, HP and HH and Cassidy and Cheeks and countless others are both hot and amazing, and nobody gives a damn.

In Britain we always champion the underdog- note the infamous Jedward!
Gosh, I dont understand who’s buying Susan’s album. Really.
But it doesn’t matter if he doesn’t top her in sales. They are not to be compared. We should compare him with Lady Gaga, Shakira and Rihanna. And he’ll maybe top them (in sales of course). 225,000 is a huuuuge number1
Bah. I always assumed that Adam had the hand on his face ‘pulling’ it up slightly to emphasize on his Tyra Banks vibe (the masculine half, feminine half concept?). Susan Boyle is doing… what? Haha.
alen , thats how I feel too. I dont care about Susan B’s numbers. I am happy for her. I just want Adam to sell more than the 3 singers you mentioned. They are his competition. Not Susan.

The worst part about this is the Boyle’s CD is full of covers. Who is buying her CD? HH is all original music! Well, she’ll be a one hit curiousity.
I don’t even think she sings that well either. oh well!
I think Susan Boyle has a good voice and wish her well but I wish Adam more…..and that’s my obsession-with-the-man talking of course!!!!
But my reason for commenting here is because I read somewhere (and I think it may have been here on GC) that Susan’s fans or those buying her albums for others are not the downloading kind or cant do that as a gift. Any thoughts on that?
