WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS FUCKERY ON KRADAMVERSARY? JEBUS CHRISTMAS. OH MAN. AYE. AYE. AYE.
SO SAD PANDA
I can’t believe he tried to joke about it. I understand what he meant by it, but death humor = not funny.
where did he joke about it?
In a tweet. Check his Twitter.
I don’t really think he’s “joking” about it…but here’s the tweet i think you guys are talking about:
cassidyhaley
I guess if you wanna go that’s probably the way to do it. one last hurrah through the air..but I’d prefer something taller 4 more bang 4 $ 23 minutes ago from Tweetie
Not something one should tweet about. IMO.
i honestly think such a thing would sock the hell out of anybody. it may seem not so sensitive to tweet about it but i would also go this route. i don’t mean tweeting since i don’t understand why twitter exists, but i mean talking about it. if you talk abpout something, joke about it , it becomes less scary.
Talking is fine, tweeting such a moment,NSM in my opinion. This person has family and friends. It is a private matter, not for public view.
I get his point, but I wouldn’t go that way. I would give it a few hours, give people some time, and change the subject.
I totally get Cassidy’s point, as I said.
i can see tweeting…it is sort of an OMG what just happened sort of thing (can you imagine if twitter had been around on 9/11?). I don’t know about pics though although the pic is really just a bunch of cops standing around.
JFAN–I AGREE TO A POINT. BUT THEN AGAIN JUMPING OFF A PUBLIC BUILDING IS NOT EXACTLY GOING OUT IN A PRIVATE WAY. IMO WHAT THAT UNNAMED PERSON DID IS DISRESPECTFUL TO THAT PERSON’S FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
IF I SAW IT I WOULD PROBABLY TWEET ABOUT IT SIMPLY BECAUSE IT’S SOMETHING YOU DON’T EVER EXPECT TO SEE. AND REALLY, WHAT HE SAID WASN’T THAT BAD. HE WAS JUST TRYING TO PROCESS IT…I UNDERSTAND.
STILL….MAN THAT’S SAD.
COME ON HAPPY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY.
Well said Candy. The picture was probably what upset me the most. Not needed. All of us understand what a police scene would look like in this situation. As for his other comment, I won’t make a statement. I do not know him so I cannot interpret his tweet.
On a happier note, enjoying our guys success! I also love your site and have been enjoying for many months.
chunkeymonkey81 – You are fast!
I understand his need to make light of the situation a bit. Sometimes it’s the only way to deal with something that you just can’t process otherwise. I feel for her family, whoever she is.
Here’s the thing for me, I just can’t help thinking you know, I would bet that this person would not have imagined her suicide being discussed on a website by a group of Adam and Kris fans. But here you have it. There are unseen connections and consequences and all that. Am I making sense? It’s just that no matter how bad a person feels like things are going for them, you just never know what is around the corner and things change. It’s just so sad when people lose their faith in that or lose their hope for that…
Something like that gives you a lump in your heart. I think Cassidy probably didn’t know how to express what he was actually feeling. So sad. I wonder if he knew her. That would be worse. Life is a real bitch sometimes. It makes you realize how short it really is, and you should cherish every minute you can draw breath and be grateful for all the little mercies allotted to you. It’s hard. Let’s face it, life is hard for most people no matter how rich, poor, beautiful, or ugly. It is just damn hard. There for the grace of the universe go I.
i agree with you candy. i really don’t think cassidy was mocking or making light of the situation. it was kinda like a “trip out, look what just happened” sorta thing.
I think the joking comment was most likely because its a shocking situation and people often try and joke when they dont know how to deal with something upsetting like this. I was upset by the idea of him putting himself in this situation “if I did this I would…” I think he made some kind of joking comment about suicide before and it bothered me then too because I dont like even the idea of a soul as beautiful as Cassidy even being in a situation where suicide would be an option.
I tweeted him: BridgetEden @cassidyhaley I’d prefer you ‘go out’ as an old man, peacefully in ur sleep in the arms of the man or woman you love.
about 3 hours ago from web in reply to cassidyhaley
re-reading the wording of his ‘joke’ tweet again NOW the phrase “one last hurrah through the air” stood out to me. Cassidy being an aerialist – its probably that the idea of the risk of falling has gone through his mind before.
When I was 18 I worked cleaning motel rooms. I found a guest hanging from his belt in a closet. For a couple of hours I was shaking with the adrenalin spike and trying to pretend I was OK with it. It never leaves you. Cassidy’s tweet put it right before my eyes again and I’m crying while I type. I needed to talk about it and twitter is instant conversation of a sort. I’m going to look at happier posts now. Bev
Imagine that had happened in your building!
I don’t have a twitter because I live in a situation where I would be sending out these kind of messages all the time to process what is happening.
Life is tough at times, but, we should always have faith in the future and know that what should happen will happen. And the tweet made us think about all this which is not too bad after all.
