The Adam Lambert Concert on Good Morning America at the Hudson Theatre has been officially cancelled. It is not necessary to come to the theatre because it will be closed. Thank you for your interest in the show and Adam Lambert. We look forward to your attendance at future events.

ETA: I know Mary and Jamie have received this. Anyone else? People on other boards are saying he’s still featured on the ABC site and has made no mention of the GMA show being cancelled.
ANYONE? I’m going back and forth with people on IDF about it. They think people are being punked. But it’s a real abc.com email address. Is someone at ABC punking Adam fans?

I was on the confirmation list to see Adam tomorrow at GMA, which is why I recieved the email. I also called the Millenium Hotel, who owns the Hudson theater, and they also said concert cancelled.
Ok Lucytor and icedmocha at IDF and our very own Bicegirl called the Millenium Hotel too and they also said it was cancelled. I know people are waiting for official confirmation from Adam or ABC, so we’ll see how this plays out, but at this point it’s looking like it’s cancelled.

I have the email from the person at ABC. It’s an official email address (@abc.com and the woman’s name). It was forwarded from someone who was emailing back and forth with her about tickets for the show.
Wow! This fucking sucks! I hope the Glamberts come out full force and protest this and threaten to boycott any future GMA performance :(

Kind of funny that after the AMA performance that ADAM would be canceled from Good Morning America! I don’t even watch that morning show and was ONLY going to watch Wednesday for ADAM! I am really ticked right now. He wouldn’t be putting on a show like Sunday night you idiots!!!
I want to clarify that I don’t know the coordinator personally – I was just on the list of confirmed people going to see Adam.

I sent an email to GMA/abc with a complaint that unless Adam is going to be rescheduled the cancellation reeked of censorship and as a longtime viewer of GMA I would now watch another program for morning news/entertainment.
Does anyone know why? I mean, this might not be because of Sunday/the AMAs (in response to a couple of comments). I mean, any number of things could have happened.
I’ll wait and reserve judgment on GMA/their people until we learn more about why it’s canceled…
Anyone want to protest the cancellation of Adam’s concert outside of Good Morning America tomorrow? I still have a hotel room booked and want to see him!

I have heard that Adam Lambert has been canceled as a guest on Good Morning America for Nov. 25th. Is that true? I paid for a hotel room for this concert. How do you plan to notify people? I don’t see any announcement on your website anywhere. Does this have anything to do with the AMA performance? If so, that’s total nonsense! I think people deserve proper notice and explanation for this. You think 1,500 complaints for the AMA were bad. Wait for the complaints you are going to receive for this.

You can also reach GMA through the ABCNews contact site ( http://abcnews.go.com/Site/page?id=3068843 ). I told them I was very disappointed that the concert had been cancelled and asked when the reschedule date is. Hoping if are enough requests like that come in, maybe it will force the issues and they’ll feel they have to reconsider. Yeah, call me naive and optimistic, but I’m open to other suggested actions as well.
