RIP Mr. Kitty

I just got back from the vet. That was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. The vet agreed it was time. He went very quickly and peacefully. Thank you all for being there for me. That was really, really hard.

it’s times like these that actually define us as nice people or assholes – a LOT of people wouldn’t even try to find that kind of strength in them to spare their pet the suffering, in favor of staying with them longer. takes real love & selflessness to do that. bless u Candy.

I know how hard this is for you….been there many times myself. Just this past Saturday, too, my Mom’s cat passed away. She couldn’t bring herself to let me take him to the vet, so he suffered way more than he should have. Mr. Kitty was very fortunate to have you for a Mommy….he’ll always be with you.
So sorry for your loss. I’ve been through it several times with cats and dogs and it’s the hardest thing to do. I hope you will have peace in the fact that you did all for him that you could.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve had to put several of my beloved dogs to sleep over the years due to cancer,etc… It is not an easy thing to do. My heart breaks for you, but it was the right thing to do. He had a long and much loved life with you.

Dear Candy…I’ve been enjoying your site for a while now, but never posted before. Now though, I have to say that my heart is breaking for you…the tears are flowing for you…and love is streaming out to you. No one knows what this selfless decision you made for Mr. Kitty feels like until one experiences it. I’ve had to do it too many times & it never gets any easier. You just need to know that you did the best, most loving thing for him after all other options had been exhausted. He was a good kitty who was lucky to have you for his mom.
