So now we’re back to Red Guitar = Wife? LMAO. From Reuters/Billboard:
Billboard: You have a solo writing credit on “Red Guitar.” What was your inspiration?
Allen: I bought a red guitar for my wife for her birthday and she never played it (laughs), so we ended up sticking it on the wall in our house — it was a horrible guitar, just like a $50 guitar — but it was a good house decoration. And one day I picked it up and tuned it and started playing it, and this song just became kind of a metaphor for how I feel about my wife. It was nice to get that one on the album because it was something from before the “Idol” stuff and I feel like it’s an amazing song. It shows who I am as a songwriter and as a musician.

Someone posted in one of yesterday’s threads that Red Guitar in the Urban Dictionary meant something about liking being on the bottom (as opposed to the top like HH).

It’s because every time he does an interview he flip flops the answer so i HAVE posted something similar when he first said this…then it was just about a guitar. now we’re back to wife lol…expect another just a guitar answer in the next interview lol
Okay, with this new answer…is he saying his wife is “horrible and cheap ($50)”? Poor bb Kris, trying to cover up the fact the Red Guitar is really about his love for being a bottom is hard work, lol.
I think he should just start singing about his blue guitar and get it over with!

Every time I hear about Katy refusing to play the red guitar, my heart breaks for him. :( I really wish Kris realized that he DESERVES BETTER. There are so many who would love a gift from the heart. Kris PLEASE stop wasting your time. There is someone out there for you that would appreciate everything you have to offer, and that someone IS NOT KATY.
