This is a DJ from Z100 in NYC. I hate how “Glamberts” trot out the “homophobic” thing whenever someone doesn’t agree with them. You are antagonizing the very people who will or will not be playing the songs. Remember Clay Aiken? Remember Constantine? Don’t go down that path!

just to be clear billy got into a pissing match with ONE very obnoxious fan. The fact that he claims he’s getting nasty tweets, yet when you search twitter you find nothing, is very interesting. Is he doing this for attention or some other reason? Makes me wonder that’s for sure.
On AO and every other Adam centric fan site I’ve ever been to there are detailed instructions on how to request on radio so as not to piss off the DJs. The Adam fans know the history of Clay and do not want to repeat it so that begs the question is it just a few loonies who don’t understand the concept OR is it something else entirely? Like some “non fans” screwing around trying to make the adam fans look ridiculous?
There are so many pushy people like that. . . it’s sad.
sugar and spice, judging from the petition they signed & sent to AO, those looies are more than a few & I think they should be addresses by Adam, because they making everybody’s life miserable including his!
first, i agree about the crazy fans but the dj can hit the delete button as well as ignore it. why should he punish HH’s music-i won’t play it if you keep harassing me-it’s a democracy not a dictatorship and unfortunately these dj’s still like to think they have all the power. i get tired of them offering up their opinions and trying to influence the listener-yes some dj’s do have an agenda-thankfully we have satellite and digital downloads to keep us from being at their mercy. the whole top 40 thing is archaic and needs to go. how would you like it if your local movie theatre owner only played movies of actors he liked but if you kissed his ass he might show the movie you request. crazy right? and what if he didn’t show movies that had a gay actor who has been on broadway or ones with vampires? Finally (yes i”m almost done) i don’t think it’s HH’s job to address these crazies-they’re not stable to begin with-he’s an artist not a school principal. (Not being snarky to ya lily-just IMO)
And this is one of the reasons I hate top 40. (And psycho over-the-top fans.) I gave it a week of trying to listen to WPLJ in NY, just to hear HH. It was nice hearing HP too. But it’s not worth it. These stations literally play the same songs over and over, to the point of being sick of them. And HH and HP were only thrown in a few times. HP was more popular.
I gave up and went back to my favorite, RXP in NY. I’ve been a longtime follower of Matt Pinfield, who’s on RXP, and he recently spoke about Adam in the L.A. Times:

As far as the ‘crazies’ who give fans a bad name, I think they need to focus their energy into something substantial. Harassing DJs is not one of them. And for DJs who continue the battle with these crazies, they need to get a life too.
What is wrong with this people, and now they are harassing the guy the twitted that Adam fans would have good news because it was a Kradison good news, lunatics.
