Kris to be in Disney Parks Christmas Parade

It appears that the oft-well-kept secret of who will be performing for the taped annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade has been released and the news isn’t good for fans of the Jonas Brothers who were the frontrunners in the rumor mill.
Even the Disneyland portion, which tapes first (and already has, earlier this month), seemed to be a big surprise as reporters scrambled to try to get a hint as to who might show.
But as for the Walt Disney World portion, a listing for the special on TV.com offers up a list of celebrities which meshes (for the most part) with the list of artists who were part of the Disneyland portion. Although Anika Noni Rose, Cheryl Burke and Tony Dovolani are missing from the cast list, it does properly list Selena Gomez, Stevie Wonder, Demi Lovato and host Ryan Seacrest.
Which, by process of elimination, leaves the WDW portion of the parade to include: American Idol winner Kris Allen, Disney Records recording artist newcomer Steve Rushton and Celine Dion. Of course just as with the Disneyland portion, there still remains plenty of room for additional surprise performers.

David Cook did it last year. A spot is always reserved for the AI winner. He could get the teen demogrphics there, so good for him.
This is an AI winner thingy, not that surprised–and David Cook’s performance was kind of nice with the guitar and all last year–not bad at all!
Kelly Clarkson and David Cook have both done this after winning AI, so it must be one of those “winner’s perks” things. Such as it is.
WTH. You mean Adam won’t be in the Disney Parade. No denying that he is the best looking male idol ever.
Well actually I deny Adam is the best looking idol ever, Kris wins hand down for me.
