hey guys! So… just an FYI. They did NOT do this as a result of Adam’s AMA performance. I’m a 11-year viewer of GH, haven’t gotten a chance to watch post-AMA, but before the AMA’s there actually was a promo that features Gary Jules’ version. So I don’t really think they’re being picky about which one they use. Or if they are? They may have wanted Jules’ version in the first place but couldn’t get the rights till now (where they already had licensed the rights of Adam’s for their Flash Forward promo)

I have been watching this for a long time (35 years) and they have always used both versions of mad world for the new “Franco” Storyline. Not saying that I agree with ABC on some of this cray cray, but I just noticed this way before the AMA performance, cause I like both versions:)

I just watched GH from today and did not notice them play mad world at all today. it was a thanksgiving thing today the end song was more of a holiday song

You know, I wondered if they would do that and I guess they did. ABC is dirty, they used Adam for the AMA’s and GH. People really liked Adam’s version of Mad World on GH. It was used as a big ploy for their new story introducing James Franco. Adam’s version was being praised on almost every GH blog. Okay, if they really switched the song out…wonder what reason they’e going to give the public? I bet you ABC will start pimping him again when the Barbara Walter’s special is ready to air.
