The interview was in early OCTOBER…NOT AUGUST! Interesting!
[Laughs.] What kind of pretty?
Pretty. Pretty is pretty. And I’m generally drawn to [guys who are] younger than me. Generally…but there are exceptions.
You told Rolling Stone that you had a crush on Kris Allen, and everyone went crazy about it.
Believe me, right after I said it, I was like… It turned into this thing, and I was like, “Oh God, I shouldn’t said that and now it’s blown way out of proportion.”
Are you usually attracted to straight boys?
No, actually.
Kris seems like a real straight guy.
He is a real straight guy. He’s very straight. He’s just…cute.
He’s pretty.
He’s pretty. He’s a pretty boy. You know? And he’s nice. He’s a really nice guy. One of the things that I think is so refreshing and cool about him is that he’s from Arkansas — and this is me being small-minded — I just kinda figured that the acceptance of people like me in Arkansas is probably a lot lower than here. And he’s very open-minded to people’s lifestyles and he doesn’t judge. He’s a good guy.
To have someone who is very religious and who feels like that –
That’s the funny thing, is that he’s not very religious, I don’t know where he got that label. Danny [Gokey] is very religious.

Were there guys hitting on you on tour?
No. The majority of fans that I came into contact with were women. A lot of women.But you have plenty of gay fans.
I’ve met like, three. That’s the thing that’s so funny to me — I don’t have a good idea of who’s into me, because the only people I’ve seen are like, women.Maybe the gay men would never have gone to an Idol concert.
That’s true, it may be the Idol thing. I didn’t think about that. You’re probably right about that.

It was a little gross because I don’t think she was as clean as she could’ve been. It wasn’t the act of it that really turned me off. I don’t really remember. I was 18 and I was drunk. Or maybe I was 17… The point of the matter is that I would not rule it out. The idea is intriguing.

We love that you’re trying to blur the lines of sexuality, Adam, but you’re not especially convincing when you say “Ew gross, it smells like fish!” in one sentence and then, “I’d still hit it,” in the next. And you’re doing this wearing eyeliner and a bowtie in a magazine that is about as straight as a piece of spaghetti in boiling water. Why not just be happy being a man-loving homo? There’s no shame in that. Especially for Out readers who would much rather hear about what Kris Allen looks like in his boxers than about your lady lust.

It would probably be. The audience would be amazing, probably, at that tour. It’s really funny to me because a lot of my core fans — people that went to the Idol concerts, and I glance at the messages boards once in a while — there is a surprising amount of them that don’t like her.

Adam ALWAYS surprises me with his ‘honesty’ in interviews. This oral sex one was a tough read.

I think it was a good interview, apparently it was after Halloween, and after hearing Gaga talking about him saying that she likes to support young artists & that she didn’t know him at the beginning until contacted by his people asking her for a song that she can write to him, and she said she had this song which she made several years ago to enter a completion -I don’t remember now which- & when she was admitted she never recorded it..So she gave it to him…I think this might be a reason why he mentioned that she is not very well loved by the same idol audience who loves him..& in that regard he is not far away from the truth…Because I am one of those who thinks that HH is a phenomenal singer that can be much bigger & greater than her -if he chooses too- while she is a Moulin rouge cabaret performer..That doesn’t stand a chance without a visual & out of the ordinary..while he can sing his face off like he said.
In the interview I think he misinterpreted very religious, making it sound more like an extremist, because very religious is very tolerant, loving and accepting..while sick extremism has nothing to do with religion in the first place.
In all cases I enjoyed it..and about HP being a gay catnip & gay men attending concerts to watch him .. hell yeah .. I remember..judging from the number of boxers thrown at him on stage .. remember girls!!! & thast was the beauty of this season girls attracted to HH & Gay boys attracted to HP..fair trade!

HH has got to be the MOST INTELLIGENT, HANDSOME, TALENTED IDOL that’s ever been on the show. He may not be book smart like Scott or Anoop, but he is so damn articulate and says such intelligent things. He is just so unbelievably awesome in so many ways!
I can’t believe there is going to be part 2 of this article out today. What more is the reporter going to ask? She’s already asked some really great questions and obviously has done her homework.
I love all the HP talk in the interview, of course, but I would secretly love to hear more info about half nekkid HP like Gawker fans want to know!
Interesting that he said he spent the day off with his boyfriend and went to the beach. And HH said that
was okay with HH’s celebrity status, but soon after, they broke up. Duck might’ve been okay with it, but HH had enough of being with someone when it wasn’t working or what he wanted in a relationship. IDK, the whole relationship was kinda weird. 
was cute when he was in the audience and in those YT videos when he was with his girlfriends in Europe, but the more I saw of him post AI, it was just weird to me. They did not have any chemistry, at all.
Anyway, HH got rid of him and I can’t wait to see what other pictures Candy and JC will find to post today.
i think Gawker kind of twisted his meaning to bash him-and really how many celebs get asked about their sex lives like this-he’s a good sport. i take it he just doesn’t like being lableled or put in a box which is why he answers the way he does about women-not that he’s trying to pander to them for sales. Why do gay man embrace HP and not HH? Wouldn’t they want to see HH succeed?
Hmmmm, I’m way more curious to know if he’s ever had a woman go down on him. I’m sure he’d enjoy that at some level. Just close your eyes and FEEL, bb.

Loha, I never knew that gay bloggers are critical to HH in general, never seen any critisism from them so far but the site posted by Candy commenting on the “Out” interview, and I believed & still do it’s because they thought he tried to lie about making out with women & being somewhow curious .. just to keep his women fanbase .. which is a huge base in comparison to men. In all cases I never meant to be critical to u, I just never thought u r speaking about something systematic & deliberate from gay bloggers against HH that’s all.

he has been criticized by more than just Out and i don’t think we can know his mind enough to accuse him of lying. and your welcome to criticize me, i just thought you misinterpreted what i was talking about-it wasn’t about HP’s appeal or why any group would like him. And as much as HH admires Freddy Mercury, he never came out or admitted to having AIDS, even on his death bed (from a Brian May interview). And Elton John was married-to a woman-before he decided to acknowledge his homosexuality and get divorced. Much greater offenses to me than HH talking about possibly being bi-curious. At times I think people like Michael Musto are grasping at straws.
