Author: JUST HAD THE FIRST OPPORTUNITY TO WATCH THE ADAM *CROTCH GRAB/MAN ON MAN SMOOCHFEST* SEEN AROUND THE WORLD AND…..THAT’S WHAT THE FUSS IS ALL ABOUT? THAT WAS NOTHIN! I AM MORE INSULTED BY THE HORRIBLE SOUND MIX THAT PLAGUED THE SHOW AND IT’S SINGERS. I AM SURE HE WAS MORE IN TUNE IN THE ACTUAL AUDITORIUM. AND AT LEAST HE SANG LIVE INSTEAD OF SOMEONE WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS BUT INSISTED ON DEPLOYING THE CROTCH THRUSTING BRIGADE OF FEMBOTS.
LIKE CANDY I AM DISSAPOINTED IN HIS *FANS* THAT ARE WILLING TO THROW HIM TO THE DOGS FOR THIS!!!!
DID ANYONE HERE *NOT* SEE HIS CRAWL THRU THE FIRE OF HOLOGRAMMED LEOTARDS AND GYRATING PEOPLE?

HIS PERFORMANCE, WHILE NOT PERFECT, SEEMS TO BE GETTING LOTS OF PRAISE AS ONE OF THE BEST OF THE NIGHT ALONG WITH MOTHA FO-ING GAGA! THAT’S GOOD PEOPLE! HE IS GETTING SERIOUS PRESS! THAT’S GOOD TOO! HE HAS AN ALBUM TO SELL! BESIDES, WE ALL KNOW HE CAN SANNNG BETTER THAN MOST ARTISTS OUT THERE, SO WHY LET ONE OFF NIGHT GET YOU DOWN?
BESIDES IT COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH, MUCH WORSE. HE COULD HAVE HAD A MUSTACHE.

THE ADAM STORM JUST GOT REAL YO! BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES BECAUSE IT’S GONNA BE LIKE THE WIZARD OF OZ UP IN HERE–SHIT FLYING AROUND, HOUSES SMASHING WITCHES, AND LOTS OF LITTLE PEOPLE.

Most of the reviews I’ve seen have been pretty positive. I do have to laugh at the “fans” who say they will no longer be “fans.” Obviously, they didn’t know the real, awesome Adam. But I’ve also seen lots of comments from people thrilled by the performance. HH will be fine, if not better. Thanks, Chunkey!

Hey has any listened to Down the Rabbit Hole yet? Love the vocal wailing part that’s reminiscent of Crawl Thru Fire and Ring of Fire. Has anyone figure out all the lyrics yet?
I’ve been trying to come up with something coherent to post since right after the show and keep coming up empty! Thank you Chunkey for summing it up so eloquently!!! HH is amazing and I’m an even bigger fan now…didn’t think that was possible!

I know this sounds like a record on repeat here, but thanks Chunky for wording this so perfectly. People who have paid attention to Adam should not have been surprised. He has said he was going to push the limits and boundaries whenever he could. Did you think he was lying about that?
My two cents. I did not like last nights performance. The sound was bad, HH had an off night vocally and the choriography was terrible. With that said, I still love HH!!! The kiss: the reason i didn’t like it was because i thought Tommy got pounced on. I watched again this morning and realize it was TOTALLY PLANNED. The line right before it is “can you handle what i’m about to do?” and then Tommy steps into it. So now it doesn’t bother me on that level. The other issue I had was that HH always says he doesn’t want his sexual orientation to be a defining factor in his career. Hmm. I thought it was totally immature, and in your face type of behavior. He is 27 and so talented i don’t think he needs to do this kind of thing for attention. It was not performance art it was JUST for the PR. That is what dissapointed me. I still LOVE HH and I am wearing my eye of horus pendant in love and support today.
One performance does not define a career, but i think he may be loosing followers instead of gainingI know he wants to push boundries and do the unexpected so i’m sure he satisfied with last. As always, it’s interesting to see what plays out next.

PUBLICITY, HOWEVER IMMATURE ONE MAY DEEM IT, IS WHAT CELEBS LIVE AND BREATHE FOR. LOOK WHAT HAPPENED AFTER HIS SCANDALOUS NIGHT–HIS ALBUM SHOT UP INTO THE TOP 10 ON BOTH GENERAL AND POP ITUNES CHARTS. THAT’S WHAT PUBLICITY DOES.
IT’S A PLAY OUTTA THE MADONNA HANDBOOK–AND HATE HER OR LOVE HER SHE IS AN ICON.
YOU MAY NOT LIKE PUBLICITY PLOYS–BUT THERE IS A REASON WHY CELEBS DO THEM. THEY USUALLY WORK. AND LUCKY FOR US HH HAS THE ACTUAL TALENT TO BACK IT ALL UP. SOMETHING THE BRITNEY’S OF THE WORLD CAN’T CLAIM.
Sorry, Chunkey. I was at the AMAs and Adam sounded just as bad live as he did on tv — was off pitch the entire song. The sound mix was awful, as well. The mix was wonky all night.
Hopefully just an off night for him. He had to be nervous considering the ridiculous OTT hype surrounding the performance.
MADELINE–THAT’S ODD. I HAVE HEARD ACCOUNTS FROM OTHERS WHO WERE THERE SAYING IT WAS BETTER IN THE ACTUAL THEATER. I AM THINKING BC THE SOUND MIX WAS OFF HE COULDN’T HEAR HIMSELF OR SOMETHING…YEAH NERVES TOO….BUT I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED IF HE HAD FEEDBACK OR SOMETHING MESSING HIM UP.
I MEAN IT’S NOT LIKE HE CAN’T SING LOL.
Live television is after all live television , so no guarantees that everything’s going to work .It wasn’t mimed, though. Tommy doesn’t look too unhappy, either! With Citizen Vein music HH’s voice becomes part ofthe music, the band is not backing, but integral with the sound, so same thing last night .My only concern during the performance was whether his shoulder spikes would injure him on the roll over, otherwise unless you’ve been on Jupiter all year, his performance would not be a surprise , but entertaining!
hey chunkey, i hope i don’t come across as a hater. I love BBHH! He is uber talented and know it was just a off night vocally.
It was just like the album cover. It was all for shock value. I just want to see him GAIN fans with his talent and not push people away. I guess he is trying to polorize people. No middle ground. If his vocals and choreography were better maybe it would have all come off better. I can’t wait for his tour and will always be a loyal fan but just not into the publicity ploys I guess. Everyone knows he’s gay. I thought he stated he wanted to be know as an entertainer first and foremost. Now i feel that he is using it as shock factor. He is contradicting himself and that is what confusses me.
