I don’t even remember if I commented on this post before..I know I did somewhere on the Home Planet or in the Forum. Came here this morning to read the other comments, but didn’t finish. Bottom line is, as I’m sure others have stated, Adam is gay. We’ve known that from the beginning…well, pretty much. I admit I didn’t notice, but my daughter did. Did it matter? Hell no. He’s an amazing person who possesses awesome talent. I HAVE NEVER, NOR WILL I EVER, BUY A CD BASED ON THE COVER!!!! I buy based on artist ALONE. I CANNOT believe all this flack over a cover. FONTS? You’re kidding me, right? Again, not an issue. Seriously, do the FONTS have anything to do with Adam as an artist? NO! Adam approved this cover….he said in a later interview it was meant to be “campy”. As I’ve said before, we’re all fans, but that doesn’t entitle us to make decisions for anyone. Adam is gorgeous in this photo…yes, perhaps too airbrushed, but none the less, it’s Adam…it’s the way he chose to present himself at this time, for this CD…we need to all respect this decision…as many of us have. Adam, I think you’re beautfiful…bring it on…we’re waiting.

Hmm.. I didnt like the cover when i first saw it,cz,as some1 else pointed out,it’s a little too camp for my taste.. That is not a bad thing,just not my taste.. However,the more i look at it the more i like it.. I think evryone has a right to their own opinion.. Dont blast ppl just bcz they express their opinion..
Yes,i agree that some comments are pushing it,like the fairy comment.. But can’t we all just be civil about it?
I too dont like the fonts..
But still i hope he sells a major amount n Im definitely getting my copy.. I cant wait for the single..

I don’t like the cover. Part of the aura I get from Adam when he performs is a passion and ferocity the imbues everything he does. I don’t get that aura from this photo. Yeah, he’s pretty as hell. But for me, this image is missing the spark that he shows on stage through all his different performance incarnations. I don’t think the cover captures that at all. He’s been so prettied that he’s been blanded out.

I don’t really care what’s on the outside of the CD since what I really want is the music on the inside. But I don’t think the outer visual “performance” of this CD lives up to Adam’s usual standards.

Wowee. What a lot of comments. I came here to talk about the album cover and have been somewhat overloaded by information.

I do not understand the organic Mighty Mouse reference several posts above and I am not sure if I want to.

Adam has shared his favourite condom choice and underwear brand? Really?

Adam and Katy Perry and red carpet event! I must go see what they’re wearing.

Somewhere via this blast of information (or maybe it was another post? My head is spinning.) I learned that Muse has a new album coming out. Yay!

Adam is continuing to stimulate discussion. Good.

Hokay. Album cover. I’m on the fence about the airbrushing, it’s never been my favourite technique. Agree with the references to 70s and 80s glam rock mentioned in various posts. Maybe more 70’s than 80’s? Whatever. Adam is beautiful and the cover makes me smile for some as-of-yet-undetermined reason.

For those who are concerned about marketing, I think it’s easier these days to use more unique or more personal album covers (safer to be riskier?) because a lot of people tend to get their first taste of an artist via youtube or itunes, or somewhere on the internet. I’m a huge addict to trying a song or two on itunes before deciding whether or not to buy the actual cd, and almost never just wander around randomly looking at cd covers to decide on an album to buy. Just my thoughts. YMMV.

I was looking forward to his album coming out before, now I’m really curious as to what it will sound like. Hoping for something new and unusual!

HH is definitely never boring! but he is always gorgeous!

Someone from another site found a fan that split his face and found one side to be feminine and the other to be more masculine. Did HH do this intentionally as sorta an optical illusion in the artwork?

We all know how much he loves Bowie and has mentioned the Bowie’s Diamond Dog album cover story many times. If you crop Bowie’s head and shoulders on the DDog album cover, is it a little similar? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_Dogs
If you click on Bowie’s various album covers on the bottom of the page, many of them are androgynous!

I think if the haters try to think like Adam does, it would help you understand where he’s coming from!

He wants people talking! He does what he loves and believes in and hopefully people will get it.

Remember Ring of Fire? How you were shocked at first, but couldn’t stop staring! It was an Epic moment for him and he loved it!

Remember what Candy said about how there are so many facets of Adam that we love in one of her posts. He is like no other and apparently his music is nothing like we’ve heard either! Can’t wait to hear it!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!254 comments I can’t believe this. I also can’t believe some of what I’ve read.

The album cover is ART that Adam chose.

He is choosing how to sing, how to present himself. If you don’t like it don’t buy it.

I’m really kind of appalled at some of the comments.

This one in particular was the most ridiculous I think.

I don’t think he gives a fuck about that. He is being himself, he is not one to play it safe to make YOU feel more comfortable or whatever..

If he wanted to play it safe and become established he might have actually sung a country song with a twang instead of ring of fire!!!

Of course it is airbrushed, with bright fonts and whatever.. It’s his album. I really don’t know what to say. I think it’s great and he can present himself in any way he wants. It is only going to get more interesting. I say that because I think he is a creative artist that is going to push us to open our minds. Not because I’m gay , not at all. How stupid that people think he needs to look more masculine.

This is Adam setting the tone for his music , his show to come.

I feel like i stepped into the twilight zone or some such shit.

i saw this cover and I flailed. I thought OMG he hit it out of the muther fucking PARK cuz it’s so fucking gorgeous. Then I start reading comments and I’m like WTAF? how can so many people hate it?

Shit just got real…. this album WILL push people and this is just the tip of the iceburg… Adam is going to continue to challenge people and force to think outside of gender barriers and stereotypes.

I don’t think I’ve ever loved him more!
